During the operation of the motor, due to vibration factors, solid parts will loosen to varying degrees. In order to ensure the operation reliability of the motor and minimize and eliminate the occurrence of loosening problems, necessary measures will be taken in the motor manufacturing process. For example, the use of elastic washer is a very common measure.
For the rotor part, because of the particularity of rotor rotation during motor operation, the firmness measures of rotor related parts are particularly important.
In the process of rotor dynamic balance, the matching and riveting of balance column and balance weight is a very key link, because the problem of balance weight falling off due to poor handling in this link is more concentrated; Another problem is that for large-scale motor rotors, internal fan balance measures are involved. Some motor manufacturers use screws and nuts as weighting balance elements, but do not take necessary re reinforcement measures, which is also a very big quality hidden danger; For other fixation, if the rotor is involved, the necessary anti loosening measures must be in place, such as adding welding reinforcement on the original basis.
Welding and riveting used in motor manufacturing
Welding, also known as fusion welding and fusion welding, is a manufacturing process and technology for joining metals or other thermoplastic materials such as plastics by heating, high temperature or high pressure. There are many kinds of energy sources in modern welding, including gas flame, arc, laser, electron beam, friction and ultrasonic. No matter where, welding may bring danger to the operator, so appropriate protective measures must be taken during welding. Possible injuries to human body caused by welding include burns, electric shock, visual damage, inhalation of toxic gas, excessive ultraviolet radiation, etc. Welding technology is used in many links such as winding connection, steel plate parts manufacturing and so on.
Riveting, namely rivet connection, is a mechanical vocabulary. It is a method of connecting multiple parts by using axial force to thicken the nail rod pier in the part rivet hole and form a nail head. Generally speaking, riveting refers to the method of connecting two plates or objects by punching holes in their parts, then putting the rivets in, riveting the rivets with a rivet gun.
The dynamic balance of the cast aluminum rotor of the motor adopts the riveting technology, and the balance column of the cast aluminum rotor is used as the rivet. The riveter is an important factor affecting the fixing effect in the riveting process, which will be described in detail in the later article.
